How
can I apply for this trip?
- You have to call up the 00 36 30 82 66 177 (from Hungary the 06 30 82 66 177) or if you cannot make a phone call, you can write an email at least 3 days before coming to becomeacaver@gmail.com and you should inform us about your name(s) all of the people who are coming. You don’t have to send any deposit but if you don’t come (because of any case), please call us on the same number.
When
can I come for this trip?
- You can come at any time when you are ready for it but you should apply before coming at least 3 days earlier by email on becomeacaver@gmail.com or make an phone call: 00 36 30 82 66 177 (from Hungary the 06 30 82 66 177) at leats 24 hours earlier before coming.
What
do I have to take?
- you get an overall and helmet with headlight. The only thing what you have to take a pair of sport shoes.
Where
can we meet?
- The meeting point is at the Pál-völgyi-cave. You can reach it with public transport by29 and with by65 buses. You have to get off at the Pál-Völgyi-barlang stop from the 65 buses and from the 29 bus you have to get off at the at the Csalit utca stop. The 65 bus starts from the Kolosy tér. The 29 bus starts from the Szentlélek tér and from Hüvösvölgy stations.

What if I
don’t live in Budapest or I don’t have time for this base (spelunking I.)
course?

If it is needed once a year are organized a so called
“caver camp” on countryside. It can be in August or in participants’ choice of
time. It is a one week (8 days) long course in Hungary or in a nearby country.
This is an extra solution if you cannot take part in the normal 3 month long
course. Each days are split into different parts: In mornings you have lessons.
In evenings you have trips. The camp fee is almost the same as the 3 month
course (440 € / person or 130000 HUF / person). This price is including food
the accommodation and all the equipment you need as well during the course.
What if I
cannot take part on the whole 3 month long based course?
- If
you are able to come at least on the 75% of the courses trips you can
successfully finish the course and in case of missing of all the lessons of the
courses you can successfully finish the course but the extra time must be taken
instead of missing trips and lessons. The extra times will be suitable for your
timetable.
